Two teenagers were charged in connection to two separate vape shop break-ins that occurred last week in Paducah, Kentucky.
Police say that the two 16-year-old boys committed the burglaries that occurred during the early morning hours at the Chuckin’ Clouds and Kick-N-Ash storefronts on Nov. 14, with a combined $5,000 in stolen goods and property damage reported.
During the investigation, a 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence after multiple people informed police that some of the stolen items were at the woman’s apartment. Upon serving her with a warrant, officers noticed the same woman throwing some of the stolen vapor products into a dumpster, according to WPSD, an NBC affiliate station.
Investigators were also able to locate a bag containing a number of vapor products and other items that was found buried in a field in nearby Melber.
One of the two teens charged for the break-ins has already been slapped with burglary in the 3rd degree and tampering with physical evidence. Police say that as the investigation continues, more charges are to be expected.
